Road Trip Tobias Friedrich

Road trip for the protection of the golden-headed lion tamarin

From June 29 to July 21, 2020, underwater photographer and HORIZONTA speaker Tobias Friedrich and Patricia Guardiola Rico are travelling through southwestern Europe. After the joint OPEN ART exhibition by Tobias and AMAP e. V., the large-format exhibition panels will be used to raise funds for the acquisition of the Fazenda Santa Rita by AMAP Brazil. Tobias gives the starting signal for the fund-raising campaign with his road trip, where he promotes the acquisition of land at seven diving stations.

You can imagine taking over one or more of the around 50 photo boards (1.8 x 1.2 m, UV and water-resistant, suitable for outdoor use) from Tobias Friedrich, and supporting AMAP e. V. with a donation for the land acquisition project Fazenda Santa Rita? Or you know someone in your professional or private environment who could imagine supporting? Then you are welcome to send us an email to horizonta@amap-brazil.org.

Tobias Friedrich & Patricia Guardiola Rico

Tobias is 39 years old, lives in Wiesbaden and is a full-time underwater photographer. He has won over 30 first places in photo competitions in the last years and has published pictures and texts in many media. Patricia is 32 years old, comes from Alicante (Spain) and has been diving for 10 years. She works 10 months a year in Indonesia as cruise director on a liveaboard vessel. Both are united by their great passion for the element water and the freedom they feel during their dives. No matter if they dive side by side or on different continents.

Patricia and Tobias are used to being able to admire or photograph the beautiful world under water almost every day. After a more than three-month forced break in Wiesbaden, the two want to go on a three-week road trip to Spain in a recreational vehicle and go diving at various stations along the way. The destination of the trip is Alicante in Spain, where Patricia grew up and can finally see her family again after the long crisis.
